International Orphanage Society Vision

Think of all of the hundreds of non-profit organizations that exist in this world whose mission it is to alleviate the suffering of street children and orphans. Imagine that no matter which organization you approach in any country, you have confidence that your charitable donation or volunteer work will leave a lasting, sustainable impact.

The well-being of the world's most vulnerable children is my passion. As a non-profit executive with several years of experience, I traveled all over the world visiting Orphanages and I saw a need for these organizations to receive professional technical assistance and support. It became my vision to figure out how to help empower and strengthen these organizations. In addition It became clear that there needed to be some standards set for what a quality organization would look like, so that donors could feel confident that their donations are being used effectively. In creating the International Orphanage Society we will connect expertise and donors to organizations whose mission it is to address the needs of street kids and orphans.

It begins with the production of a website that will connect donors and volunteers with proven organizations. On the web site we will share the stories of these organizations and help connect donors and volunteer to get involved and to make a difference. As the Society grows, the vision is to create a membership program where we set standards of accountability for these organizations. For those that cannot meet the basic standards set, the International Orphanage Society goal is to help them receive the resources and training they need in order to ensure confidence in potential philanthropists and long term sustainability of these organizations!
